Grand Forks, ND — National Weather Service meteorologist Bill Barrett says up to 8 inches of snow could accumulate between Tuesday night and Thursday morning.
A cold storm system is moving in from Colorado and toward Wisconsin and will likely dump between 3 to 8 inches of snow on eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, Barrett said.
It’s more common for these types of systems to move through during November.
“It’s truly out of season,” Barrett added.
Temperatures are predicted to drop below -1C (30F) starting Tuesday night — well-below average for the time of year.
