All-time low temperature records continue to fall across North America, all-time low temperature records continue NOT to be logged by NOAA.
Wichita Falls, Texas set a new record low on Saturday, Oct 12 when the mercury dipped to -1.1C (30F); cold enough to smash the previous record low of 1.7C (35F) set back in 1977 (solar minimum of cycle 20).
It was also the second earliest freeze the northern Texas city has ever seen.
Furthermore, in neighboring OK, Oklahoma City set new record daily lows on both Oct 11 and Oct 12; of 0C (32F) and -2.2C (28F), respectively. As did Lawton, with a pair of identical temps.
HUNDREDS of cold-records have fallen across North America of late, and they continue to fall.
As does HISTORIC early-season snow across the Midwest.
