Volcanic & Seismic Activity

Strombolian Activity and Lava flow observed at Mount Etna, Italy

Mild strombolian activity and a lava flow were recorded at the eastern vent of Mount Etna’s newly formed southeast crater on the morning of Thursday, November 29.

According to INGV’s Boris Behncke, Etna’s current activity is quite small and absolutely harmless, but very beautiful.

However, activity does seem to be building. Compared to a few days ago, the explosions are now much more frequent.

“The volcano is preparing something,” Behncke said, “but if we think about it, it always does.”

Notice how all that fiery yellow and orange is melting the accumulating snow on the mountain — global warming…?

The cold times are coming kids.

Seismic and Volcanic activity has been correlated to changes in our sun.

The global uptick in earthquakes and volcanoes we’ve witnessed lately is likely attributed to the drop-off in solar activity, coronal holes, and the increase in Galactic Cosmic Rays penetrating silica-rich magma.
