Saudi Arabia: Snowfall In The Middle Of Summer
While mainstream news outlets spout stories of a never-ending global heatwave, snow, hail and rain lash parts of Saudi Arabia creating a phenomenon never before witnessed.
The streets of the southern city of Khamis Mushayt have been flooded-out by torrential downpours.

And freak mid-summer snow has made many roads impassable.

Earlier this year, snow fell in the mountainous area of Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region located close to the Jordan-Saudi border.
Back in 2016, the country saw one of its first-ever recorded snowstorms.
