Record Setting Pennsylvania Snowfall

Record setting Nov 15 snowfall was reported in parts of central Pa., according to the National Weather Service.

Harrisburg recorded a whopping 8.3 inches of the white stuff last Thursday, smashing the previous record of 3 inches set in 1911 and tied in 1947, the NWS said.

Williamsport reported 6.9 inches, breaking the previous record of 2.5 inches set in 1995 (solar minimum of cycle 22).
