Record Breaking Blizzard Buries Newfoundland, Canada — U.S. on course to be hit next

Multiple major snowstorms have buried parts of Newfoundland, Canada over the past few weeks — more than 1 meter (3.3 feet) of powder has accumulated over the Avalon Peninsula.

Since Monday, Jan 6, thousands of homes have been left without power in Newfoundland due to heavy, blowing snow. A myriad of vehicle collisions have been reported, and many flights have been cancelled.

A WestJet flight from Toronto skidded off the tracks on Sunday, Jan 5, while landing in Halifax due to the poor weather conditions — no injuries were reported.

In the city of St. John –the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador province– a record-busting 69 cm (2.3 feet) of snow fell on Tue, Jan 7, alone, which surpassed the previous record for largest January snow-day accumulation set on Jan 12, 2014.

Locals took to social media to share photos and videos of what they labelled ‘snowmageddon’:

The majority of Newfoundland remains under winter weather warnings, with a storm system still working its way through the western and central areas as it crawls east.

Another 30 cm (12 inches) of powder is expected for these areas through Thurs, Jan 9.

Latest GFS runs reveal wave after wave of brutal Polar cold is about to be unlocked from the Arctic and funneled anomalously-far south by an ever-weakening jet stream–the result of the historically low solar activity we’re currently experiencing.

Record-smashing sub-zero temperatures –some 22C below normal across vast regions– will have descended into ALL of the United States by Jan 17, with the Western and Central regions looking to be hit first beginning around Jan 10.

Arctic air will ride south on a ‘wavy’ jet stream, and engulf the lower-latitudes. The cold will be replaced by warmer conditions in the northern-latitudes — a phenomenon expected, and predicted to intensify further, during the sun’s next Grand Solar Minimum cycle.

And heavy snow is descending with it, with practically every US state receiving at least a flurry by Jan 25:

GFS TOTAL SNOWFALL (inches) — Jan 09 to Jan 25

The lower-latitudes are refreezing in line with historically low solar activity:

And NASA has recently revealed this upcoming solar cycle (25) will dip further still, to become “the weakest of the past 200 years,” with the agency correlating previous solar shutdowns to prolonged periods of global cooling here.

Don’t be fooled by bogus political agendas — our future is one of ever-descending COLD, and of CROP LOSS — prepare accordingly — relocate if need be, and grow your own.
