Moose Jaw Hits the Floor — Multiple All-Time Low Temperature Records fall in Saskatchewan

A record-breaking summer cold front had central Canadians searching for an extra blanket Sunday-thru-Monday, as Arctic air rode anomalously far south on the back of an historically wavy jet stream.

The mercury plunged more than 12C below-average overnight Sunday, setting new record lows across central Canada in books often dating back to the late 1800s/early 1900s.

Global News Meteorologist Peter Quinlan Tweeted a few of the new low temperature records:

Summer warmth is expected to return by Wednesday, but enjoy it while you can…

…because the cold times are returning, in line with historically low solar activity.

Even NASA agrees, in part at least, with their recent Solar Cycle 25 prediction revealing it will be “the weakest of the past 200 years” (www.nasa.gov):

Prepare.

Grow your own.
