Further Frost Damage to Argentina’s Wheat Crop
New reports have emerged from Argentina of further frost damage to its unharvested wheat crop in the Buenos Aires region.
Untimely cold-weather and torrential rains as harvest progresses have led at least one local market observer to shave a further 300,000 mt from its forecast to 19.2 million mt.
Similar shavings are occurring regularly across the major grain producing nations — Canada, Australia and Russia are the most recent to reduce estimates due to bad weather.
Prepare.
