Europe Braces For Monster November Snow Totals

Recent GFS runs show heavy snow falling across the majority of Europe from Tues Nov 20 through Fri Nov 30. From East to West, North to South — the continent looks set to get buried.

UK snowfall is forecast to start Tues evening, with the north and south receiving an equal share of the white stuff.

Heavy November snow is also predicted for all of Scandinavia, two-thirds of France, pretty much all of Germany, most of Austria, Italy — in fact, the majority of European countries can expect snow this coming ten days, with the Alps set to receive monster totals.

Temperature departures are almost as shocking as the snow totals.

The deep arctic trough will bring the mercury tumbling between 4C to 12C below average for vast swathes of the continent:

While Europe braces for its second arctic blast of the season, North America continues to get buried:

And Australia is expected to join in on the frigid fun too. Even as their summer approaches, temps are set to fall far below average with some snow expected in southern regions:

History is repeating.

Prepare.
