Met Eireann are forecasting one of the coldest nights in months for the Irish capital on Thursday, with temperatures expected to plummet 14C.
Lows of 2C are to be expected overnight, with the possibility of the mercury dipping below zero in some sheltered northern areas.
“Mist thickening into fog locally tonight, in near calm conditions,” read the Met Eireann forecast.
“Many areas will remain dry but cold under clearer skies, with lowest temperatures of 2 degrees Celsius.
“It’s going to feel like winter.”
