NOAA won’t want to hear it –I doubt they’ll even properly log it– but buckets of low temperature records have tumbled across the United States over the past 24 hours, as brutal Arctic air engulfs North America.
According to ‘unofficial’ data compiled by coolwx.com, a plague of new all-time cold records spread across the Midwest U.S. on Friday, February 14 — an embarrassment of riches for the cold hunters, almost as embarrassing as that paltry handful of heat records tumbling on the southern tip of Florida–you know, the ones garnering all the media attention.
Further cold records are forecast to fall throughout the weekend, as the buckling jet stream –a phenomenon associated with low solar activity– persists in diverting Arctic air to the lower 48 (as well as much of Canada).
And then by the middle of next week, a second brutal blast is expected to engulf the majority of the North American continent, dropping temperatures some 16C below the seasonal average for many:
With impressive snow totals to match:
The lower latitudes are refreezing.
Earth has been substantially cooling for half a decade now, according to even the most warm-mongering of datasets (NOAA’s). And looking ahead, this trend is expected to continue in line with historically low solar activity, cloud-nucleating Cosmic Rays, and a meridional jet stream flow.
Don’t fall for bogus political agendas — our future is one of ever-descending COLD:
