Cold Weather set to Blast the Netherlands

An Arctic blast is set to hit the Netherlands mid-week meaning daytime highs of just 5 degrees along with hard frosts at night, according to local weather forecasters.

Cold easterly winds will move in on Wednesday sending the mercury plunging.

Friday is set to be the coldest day with highs barely climbing above freezing and lows dropping to -3C, the KNMI weather bureau reported.
