Arizona’s ski season isn’t over yet, at least not for the Snowbowl north of Flagstaff. Resort officials say they’re planning to remain open into May, which would tie the longest season in its history.
The 332 inches of accumulated snow this season is the second highest total in the past 21 years.
Current plans are to operate from May 03-05, with a final a closing date still not decided.
Resort officials say a record-breaking March saw a 30 percent increase in skier visits when compared with last season.
The cold times are coming.
